Asphalt
grouts are asphalt mixtures with inorganic or organic fillers. You can
encounter asphalt grouts not only on roads, but also when grouting concrete
road joints, airport surfaces or tiles and sidewalks. Several basic rules have
to be observed prior to applying asphalt grouts. Joints, which are supposed to
be grouted, have to be initially thoroughly cleaned and subsequently treated
with a penetration varnish.
