Paramo has invested nearly CZK 30 million in modernising its fire system and increasing the safety of the production site in Pardubice. Thanks to this investment, a state-of-the-art electronic fire signalling system was installed on the premises, and the corporate fire brigade can use a brand-new control centre.
“We continuously modernise our production site. We invest both in its development and enhanced safety measures. The fire system digitalisation and the brand-new control centre will help our firefighters better supervise the site’s safe operations, assess emergencies and provide a much faster response,” said Konrad Szykuła, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Paramo.
The corporate fire brigade’s control centre is run 24/7. It has an integrated switchboard serving the 150 line for the company’s needs and a civil corporate line for the corporate fire brigade’s needs. If necessary, controllers can also launch a technological response, i.e., warning the company’s employees or controlling the fire water supply station. The fire station is also equipped with a weather station to monitor weather conditions.
Paramo’s corporate fire brigade is part of the Pardubice Region’s emergency plan and may also respond and attend to any emergency at the Pardubice Airport.
