Pardubice, 12 April 2011 – The Pardubice refinery will supply Czech Railways with approximately 600 tonnes of motor oils. The company won the contract in a public tender. "We applied our experience from contracts in recent years. I also consider one of the key factors of our success to be the perfectly materials and flawless approach during the electronic auction," notes Leoš Dostál from the Paramo Lubricants Division.

Czech Railways are an important client for Paramo not only in the motor oils segment, but also for light heating oils. They are also among the largest buyers of motor diesel.

PARAMO, a.s., a member of the UNIPETROL/PKN ORLEN Group, processes crude oil for refinery and asphalt products, and also for lubricating and process oils, incl. subsequent and ancillary products. The refinery purchases and processes oil hydrogen and hydrocrack products. Intermediate products are used in the production of basic oils and lubricating oils which contain very low levels of sulphur. The company employs 661 people.
