Pardubice, 5th September 2012 – Paramo has recorded only a minimal number of warranty claims for its produced volumes and wide portfolio of circa 500 products. In the first six months of this year, it didn't have to solve a single complaint by its customers, documenting the high and stable level of its products on the market.
„The basis of our quality products lies in the use of quality input materials. Upon their delivery to Paramo, we do not accept them only based on presented quality assurances, but we also check each input material ourselves in the QM department. We have taught our suppliers to only send quality materials to Paramo," says development and QM manager Jan Pavlík, continuing: "Input checks are not being taken lightly even now, we perform them just as intensively. Our motto is: trust but verify. The most important elements in the QM system are intensive inter-operations checks. This allows the prevention of repairs, which of course cost time and money."
The system of intensive input, inter-operations and output checks was implemented in Paramo in 2008. The long-term low financial losses from warranties are also due to the close cooperation between the business departments, i.e. QM and development and business-technical service.
In the previous years, the most frequently reclaimed products included industrial lubricants and asphalt products. While in 2007 the company had to deal with a total of 27 warranty claims, 9 of which were approved, last year it only had to deal with six and approve one. "Unsubstantial warranties are caused by incorrect choices of products by customers or inappropriate application of a product. In case of relevant warranty claims, Paramo immediately begins searching for its cause and adopts reparatory measures to prevent the situation from repeating," commented Jan Pavlík of Paramo.
